Let's Talk

I realise that making a decision about therapy can be a big one, sometimes making that initial contact can be the hardest. Sometimes we all need someone to talk to, life can become overwhelming, confusing or distressing for all of us. At difficult times in our lives sometimes talking to friends or family just isn't enough and an impartial, objective ear can be just what is needed. I will allow you the time, space and confidentiality to talk through anything that is troubling you. As a person centred counsellor I will work at your pace, truly listen without judgement, allow you to find the solutions you are looking for and not assume that I know what is best for you. Working therapeutically in this way can bring about the changes that you want to enable you to lead a more fulfilling life.

I would love you to give yourself the 'time to talk' in professional, confidential settings in either Sale or Wilmslow. I will provide a safe and comfortable setting in which you can talk.

I am a fully qualified person centred therapist, with additional training in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and transactional analysis. This means that I have the skills and tools from different therapeutic backgrounds to be able to tailor the therapy to best suit your needs.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, which means I adhere to their ethical guidelines to ensure you receive the best practice.

​

As well as working privately in Sale, Hale and Wilmslow, I have also worked within a charitable setting in Altrincham for a number of years, where I have experience of working with depression, anxiety, trauma, gender identity issues, family members of addicts, bereavement and loss.  I also have  specialist experience of working with children and young people within school and college settings, both as a teacher and more recently a counsellor.
